New Polish Matura
New Polish Matura has been organized as a secondary education leaving exam since 2005 in high school and since 2006 in technical/ vocational school. Exam results are expressed as a percentage score (scale from 0% to 100%).
W = P1 + P2 + P3
P1: The result obtained for the written exam at the basic level in the following subjects:
P2: The result obtained for the written exam in modern language at the basic level
P3: The result obtained for the written exam in the following subjects:
If exam from the group P3 was taken at the basic level, its result is multiplied by 0.5
If applicants did not pass the required exam or did not pass the exam at the specified level, they receive 0 points in that particular group, but they are still eligible to be taken into consideration during the qualification process.

Old Polish Matura
Old Polish Matura was organized until 2005 in high school and until 2006 in technical / vocational school. Exam results were expressed within a scale 2-5 (until 1991) or 1-6 (after 1991).

Foreign certificates
A document issued by foreign education system. It should enable aplicants to pursue studies at the approproate level in the country were it was issued. The document should meet the certain requirements, more information here.

P1: the result obtained for the written exam in a modern language
P2: the result obtained for the written exam in any other subject
Applicants must present the scale of results during online admission.
The results obtained for foreign exams are converted into admission points the following way:
No – grade obtained;
Nmin – minimum passing score according to the scale used in the country where applicants have taken the exam;
Nmax – maximum passing score according to the scale used in the country where applicants have taken the exam;
If foreign exam score is expressed by a letter grade scale, the admission score is determined by using the proportion principle (maximum score corresponds to 150 points, minimum passing score corresponds to 30 points.
If applicants did not pass the required exam, they receive 0 points in that particular group, but they are still eligible to be taken into consideration during the qualification process.

International Baccalaureate
A document issued by schools accredited by the International Baccalaureate. Exam results are expressed on a scale 1-7. International Baccalaureate diploma can only be obtained upon completion of the program offered by one of the certified schools (check the list here)

P1: the result obtained for the written exam in Polish language or modern language
P2: the result obtained for the written exam in any other subject

A document issued by European Schools and accredited schools. Exam results are expressed on a scale from 1 to 10. The list of schools is available here.
